Portland: Intermediate Weaving Workshop! Thursday, March 16th

I'm working with the Homespun School of Traditional Craft to bring you this long awaited intermediate level workshop.

In this 3 hour class we'll go beyond the basics to further your weaving prowess!

In class we'll tackle different methods of color blending, using a cartoon, making complex shapes (hello circles), some advanced weaving, warping and finishing techniques as well as troubleshooting your weaving woes.

Students should be comfortable warping their loom and understand basic weaving techniques.  Prerequisite of my beginners class or the equivalent.  If you are unsure please don't hesitate to contact me and ask!

Included in the class fee is an illustrated instruction book, yarn, warp string and some new tools to expand your set.  Students should bring their own loom and any favorite weaving tools.

Space is limited to provide a focused learning atmosphere and individual instruction.  Light refreshment provided.
