Contemporary Threads features a lineup of local textile artists during Portland Textile Month. Join us on Thursday, October 25 from 4-6 pm for our opening party and first to shop opportunity. Plus, don’t miss Kat+Maouche’s talk at 5 pm on The History of Berber Rugs as Cultural Objects.

Friday and Saturday shop handcrafted soft goods, watch textile demonstrations and more. Talk with contemporary artists focused on elevating textile creativity and awareness in PDX.  Participating textile professionals include LeBrie Rich of Penfelt, Gloria Freshley, Emily Katz, Katherine Entis, Tricia Langman, Patty Benson, Sarah Wertzberger, Natalie Novak, Megan Mesloh and more.
