in/finite body (2018)
The ten pieces in this collection use symbols and color to describe the exigencies of living in a human body and how that simultaneously connects and disconnects us from experiencing the world. Our physical self is the means and the limitation for our exploration of vast landscapes both internal and external. We are constantly changing beings forging relationships within ourselves and the universe as we know it, which is also in continuous flux. This endless shifting is a dance we must navigate our entire lives, and the steps are changing every second of every day.
in/finite body will be on view at Woodshop Woodshop in Portland, OR from Friday, November 2nd through Saturday, December 8th 2018.
