Tapestry Weaving: Designing Through Color & Shape w/ Wild Craft Studio School

In this weekend intensive, students will be introduced to tapestry weaving through creating simple shapes, exploring textures, and finishing a weaving using a tapestry loom designed to take home. This great beginner’s loom provides a complete weaving experience, while teaching skills and techniques that are transferable to other types of looms, including larger floor looms. Through class discussion, students will learn proper weaving terminology while hands-on guidance will give students access to an age-old craft. All materials will be provided, including a weaving kit for students to keep, enjoy, and continue using to practice their craft.

No previous experience necessary. Open to students 16 & up.
