I'm teaming up with Homespun School of Traditional Craft to bring you this beginning weaving workshop! In our 3.5 hour class you'll learn the essentials of weaving on a simple wooden frame loom from Portland artist Natalie Novak. During the workshop we'll weave basic shapes, create texture and fringe using colorful, natural yarns and fibers. We'll also cover basic terms and techniques to help unravel the mysteries of weaving. Everyone will leave with their own complete woven wall hanging!
If you don't want the weaving to stop at the end of the workshop you can add a loom kit to take home with you.
