What would happen if all the weavers in Portland area (or at least a handful of us) met up in real life to weave together, share yarn and swap stories?  I'm pretty sure it'll be magic and I can't wait to find out. 

If you haven't touched your loom in a little while, this might the the motivation you need to pick up your yarn.  Maybe you weave all the time and just want to do it in the company of others with string on the brain.  Either way, you're invited to the inaugural meeting of the Portland Weaving Club!  Bring yourself, invite your favorite weaving friends, pack up your loom and maybe a snack or drink to share if you want to.  Everyone is welcome at this free event, please RSVP to natalie@combedthunder.com.
